TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Terms & Conditions of Hire

Isle of Wight Bouncy World

By confirming a booking you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

1. Booking & Payment

A booking is confirmed once payment or deposit has been received. Remaining balances must be

paid as agreed.

2. Delivery & Collection

Please ensure safe access, a responsible adult is present and the installation area is ready. Delays

caused by customer access may reduce the hire period.

3. Suitable Installation Area

The installation area must be level, safe, accessible and suitable for the inflatable booked, it is the hirers responsibility to measure the area. We reserve the right to refuse installation if we believe the location is unsafe or too small. Our safety decision is final.

4. Power Supply

Customers must provide a safe, suitable 240V mains electrical supply. We cannot accept

responsibility for delays or incomplete installations caused by faulty sockets, overloaded circuits,

power failures, power being switched off or electrical issues beyond our reasonable control.

5. Access

Customers must advise us before booking of restricted access, stairs, narrow gates, long carrying distances or timed access.

6. Weather

We may refuse or cancel installation where weather conditions make operation unsafe.

7. Circumstances Outside Our Control

We are not liable for delays or incomplete installations caused by site access issues, venue

restrictions, electrical supply problems, unsafe conditions, severe traffic, road closures, weather or other events beyond our reasonable control.

8. Customer Responsibilities

The hirer is responsible for supervising users and ensuring all safety rules are followed.

9. Damage

The hirer is responsible for damage caused by misuse, negligence, pets, sharp objects, fire, cigarettes, silly string, face paints, glitter, food, drinks or vandalism.

10. Cancellations

Cancellation charges may apply depending on the notice given.

11. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability where it cannot legally be excluded.

12. Equipment Failure

Where equipment develops a genuine fault, we will repair or replace it where reasonably possible. If not possible, any refund will reflect the proportion of the hire that could not reasonably be provided.

13. Installation Time

Our installation team will make every reasonable effort to complete the agreed installation. However, delays caused by customer access, unsuitable site conditions, power supply issues or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control may reduce the available installation time. We cannot guarantee extended attendance where this would affect subsequent bookings.

14. Attendance cost

Once our staff, vehicles and equipment have arrived at the agreed venue, the costs of transport, staffing, loading, unloading and attendance have been incurred. Where a booking cannot be fully completed due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, we reserve the right to retain all or part of the hire fee, taking into account the work completed and costs incurred.

15. Schools, Councils & Public Events

Where hiring to schools, councils, charities or other organisations, the hirer is responsible for ensuring suitable access, sufficient set-up time, a safe installation area and an appropriate electrical supply are available at the agreed time. Failure to provide these may affect our ability to complete the booking and may result in additional charges or a reduction in the hire period without entitlement to a full refund.

16. Complaints

Concerns should be raised on the day wherever possible and submitted in writing within 48 hours.
